This is a study that I did a couple months back. I am really proud bc I managed to figure the process intuitively, instead of relying on materials:

1.Shape --> composition --> proportion 2.Unify the darkside and shadow 3.Suppres background color and emphisize light and shadow relationships 4.Lay the gray tones and add it in the relationship with white and black tones 5.Blend them 6.Shape (emphasis in detail/edges)
